Challenge In The Nursing Department: Application System Theory (Article Sample) Content: Application: System theoryIntroductionEvery health care or a big organization is conceptual framework as an open system. The open system is consistent in the parameters that describe their formation. The characteristics include its steady state, equivalently, and involves the process of integration and coordination (Scott, 2015). Moreover, it has some event cycles and the service delivery which produces a feedback which could be positive or negative.Challenge in the nursing department.Sharp is a nursing company in San Diego state. The company is the company is termed as an open system because it has qualifying characteristics. Foremost, because it has equipped nurses, patients, the availability of equipment and human resource indicates input to the network. The nurses have the operational environment. The sharp company pays the nurses according to their standards. The process of attaining working environment for service delivery give throughput to the system. The throu ghput mostly accompanied by the service offered to the patients at the departmental level. Most often, the performance of duties systematic (Harrison Nixon, 2002). The operation of a person depends on a timetable. The timetable enables the personnel to have off-periods for rest. In the deliverables, the activities keep on repeating themselves one day after another (Mosadeghrad, 2013). The specified repetition causes circles in the nursing department and therefore causes circles of events. Through poor delivery to the patients causes the negative feedback by the patients or patients recovery.Analysis using open systemTo the most of the open system like in sharp healthcare nursing face a challenge. In the case of the sharp healthcare, the workers face a change of unfulfilled demands (Monks, et al. 2013). The resultant of unfulfilled demands leads to low worker morale.Based on the opens system analysis the problem spreads out to all other variables. Once the nurses demand the paymen t increase without the management designation of a solution, then there is low esteem which leads to low performance. Also, when the nurses strike, the health care tends to employ other nurses to stand in the gap especially in the operation section. Before the event, the replacement re-schedules have to be made for the operation department. On the process of shifting in the health care system, the delivery which hinders the delivery of services. Some operations may need more checkups and reconsideration due to the alterations in the characteristics of the diseases. The problem repeatedly arises as the problems are kept at bay.In the open system, in the case, the input is impaired by the disturbed output. Therefore the morale of the workers is impaired, and in the process, the service delivery is out of obligation. Moreover, at times the input is not there since the nurses are out.The throughput of is impaired by the fact that service delivery is delayed; the delivery also cannot fulf ill the patients. In the process, the management is trying to concentrate on the nurse issue. At the times where there is no solution at all. The strike arises which is an indicator of the improper coordination and operations. For the limiting factors, the patients react negatively to the delays and unsatisfactorily offered services. Some of the patients feel that they are subjected to torture due to the suffering they are undergoing. To make matters worse some of the patients might not withstand to live for the next operation. Due to the resulting negative feedback associated with the limitations creates a negative attitude towards the health care (Maslach Jackson, 2013). On the management sides, the events cycles are terminated at some moments and results in inconvenience in planning and coordinating of activities.Desired outcomeThe main aim of open system analysis is to enhance a better solution towards addressing issues that pertain nurses to increase the morale. The increased m orale and work retention increase the throughput. The attention gives desired patients response and develops a positive attitude towards the service. Eventually, the patients survivors will increase at a substantial rate.Goals and objectivesThe main objective of the open system is to improve patients confidence in the process of treatment. To the organization, the increased patients amounts to the higher financial gains at the same time feeling of belonging to the health care system.Policy and proceduresTo the equalization of the nurses payment in both other health carers and the healthcare in the case( Blchliger, 2008). The policy ensures that the nurses little at the same time motivated. It would be even better to have a two-way advantage; patients goodwill and nurses morale.
